Thinking about the severa! functions and challenges that the educator has been assuming in the process of education, this work brings a little review about the subject, wanting that the reader make a reflection of its role in this context, its professional preparation until this moment and what has made to change its behavior and improvement, facing so many alternatives of teaching techniques, from the introduction of the computerization and many other newness, sailing until the arrival of the courses given at distance. The article has the objective of bringing the teacher s knowledge a review of articles about its paper nowadays, extending its horizons to a reflection as a teacher and where has the central actor been placed in this process, who is the average levei Nursing student
