Abstract

Objective: This study aimed to discuss the preparation of nursing staff to work in hybrid procedures. Method: It is an experience report based on the work of nurses in the planning and implementation of nursing care in a hybrid surgical room. The planning included the four pillars of nursing: research, teaching, care, and management. Results: We began with the reading of scientific articles on the subject, after that, we carried out internships in interventional cardiology and prepared spreadsheets, checklists and didactic material for the nursing and surgical instrumentation staff. Conclusion: Considering that the use of technology has increased in hospitals, this work contributes to the sharing of experience in the preparation of nursing staff in hybrid surgical room.
