The cleaning process is pre requirement to guarantee the proper disinfection and sterilization of devices and surgical instruments and it should reduce their bioburden and deb ris. This process could be carry out manua lly. This study was developed with lntegrated Clinic of Odontologia of the University, where were observed the handling of odontological instruments during the cleaning process made by st uden ts. The academics have adopted different ways to process a single instrument and they haven't followed the normal steps for cleaning instrumen ts. Ahead of this, it has seen the need of enabling the futures professionals, by taking them to the theoretical and practical domain regarding cleaning process
