Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the importance of the scrubbed person's role for the Nursing team of Operating Roam Unit, Anesthetic Recovery Unit, Central Supply and Sterilization and the Surgical Schedule Unit. Ninety eight professionals of the Nursing category (pacient care technicians, registered nurses, trainees, assistants and college studants) take part of this study. The outcomes shows that 93 (94,89%) of the participants considered the instrumentation activities developed by this professional that helps the surgeon important for the surgical act, whereas the technical competence were considered more important than humanistic virtues as emotional contrai and interpersonal skill s.
