Nurses Perception on the Humanization oi the Perioperative Assistance

Researches on nurs1ng concluded that nurses from operating room are more directed to the managing of this sector, forgetting about the patienes direct care and about the importance of humanized treatment. This study, of qualitative nature, has had as objective to know the nurs e1s from surgical center perception about humanizing of per operative nursing care. ln this research were interviewed ten nurses that worked in surgical centers from different public or private hospitais. The data was collected through individual interview, being thereafter analyzed about content, emerging in the end four final cat egories: hospital humanization, actual treatment, communication and humaniza tion1s result. The conclusion was that nurses know clearly what is and how to make humanization nursing care, however, it is not yet practiced in the majority of surgical centers due to the inadequate number of employees and nurs e1s overwork.
