Abstract

This research had the following objectiv e: to assess the Nursing Care oi elderly patient in Surg1cal Center. Twelve (12) nurses took part in this research. A form regarding Nursing Care oi elderly surgical patients in Surg,ca/

observed; the care oi wh,ch elder/y patient in the Operating Room are submitted, are in gene­ ral  related   to   the   specilic   physical   care  ( 5 0, 0 0 % ); the type oi communication between the nurses in the Surgical Center and the Admission   Unit  was  oral  and  by telephone
