Open Access Policy

Revista SOBECC is an open access scientific journal, which means that all content is available free of charge, at no cost to the user or his/her Institution. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link the full texts of articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without prior permission from the publisher or author. This statement complies with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access.

Until 12/31/2023:

SOBECC Journal did not charge authors for submission or publication of their articles. After approval of the article, the authors must bear the costs of translating it into English and reviewing the manuscript. SOBECC members were exempt from any costs.

From 01/01/2024:

SOBECC Journal does not charge submission fees. The approved manuscript publication fee is equal to R$1800.00 for non-members and R$900.00 for SOBECC members.
